According to the methods of production and processing, there are several types:

Hot dip galvanized steel plate. A thin sheet of zinc is coated with steel sheet, when thin steel  sheet dip in to the molten zinc. It is mainly used in continuous galvanizing process, which is the continuous dip the rolled steel plate into molten zinc slot.

Alloyed galvanized steel plate. This kind of steel plate is made by hot dip method, but after the zinc slot, immediately heated to a temperature about 500℃, it make the generation of zinc and iron alloy membrane. This kind of galvanized plate has good coating and welding property.

Galvanized sheet production equipment. The galvanized steel plate is manufactured with electro-plating method. However,the coating is thinner and less rust resistant than the galvanized plate of hot dipping.

Single side zinc coated plate & double side zinc coat plate with different thickness of zinc coat. Single side galvanized steel plate, which is only in one side galvanized product. In welding, coating, anti-rust process and machining, it is more adaptive than two-sided galvanized plate. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the one side uncoated zinc, another side of plate is coated with very thin zinc,which is called double side zinc coat plate with different thickness zinc coat.

Alloy, composite galvanized steel plate.It is made of zinc and other metals, such as lead and zinc alloy even composite steel plates. This steel plate has excellent rust resistance and good coating performance.

In addition to the above-mentioned five kinds, there is also the color galvanized steel plate, the printed picture coating galvanized steel plate,the PVC laminated galvanized steel plate and so on. But the most commonly used is still hot dip galvanized plate.
